1. Care practised differently. An alternative built beside the institution, not opposed to the science it rests on.
2. The removal of unnecessary distance between a person and their medicine: fragmented records, opaque prices, waiting, and the turning of a person into a case moving through a system.

Not alternative medicine. The medicine is the same — it is everything around it that we are arguing with.
